For those that know me they will know that i have been working in heavy engineering for some years now, and having recently landed in Viet Nam I really needed to get some temp work or contract work to pay my mounting travel bills.

I have looked around in all of the construction engineering companies here with very little success, it was only when I saw that Vietnam had a growing natural gas sector that I thought they will need engineering staff. The thing is that the web world is a bit odd in Vietnam and it was almost impossible for me to find an expat job, however some significant web searching later I came across a company called Concur Consultants Asia based out of singers but recruiting for the Oil & Gas sector all over South East Asia.  A few calls and a meeting with the rep and I am now working for the national oil company on a 12 week contract in Vietnam for $670.00 a day offshore! Ya fricking hoo - That is going to fill my travel budget for another year!

Stay tuned - but I will be offline for 12 weeks or so!
